RECYCLES
One Source Metals recycles new, used and broken products by melting, crushing and recycling the material back to manufacturers. This prevents the material from entering our nation's landfills and fuels the production of new products. We offer incentives to manufacturers who purchase the raw material for manufacturing.

RECLAIMS
One Source Metals reclaims core components of recycled products such as circuit boards, hard drives, memory, batteries, cases, cables, DC converters, etc. This material is kept from entering our nation's landfills and goes right back into production without wasting energy and resources. We offer large incentives to manufacturers who purchase the components for manufacturing.

REUSES

Wafer reclamation through different processes including Sandblasting and Acid wash, Sorting and Testing.

Sorting: From Patterns to Colors and any size down to 1mmx1mm granules We can sort any type of silicon requirements.
Chemical Washing: We use variety of acids and chemical wash to ensure all surfaces have been removed. We do this with weight loss in mind. We have one of the lowest weight loss % in the industry.
Sand Blasting: With our special sand and experienced technicians we can remove the hardest of surfaces from some of the smallest pieces. Our sandblasting technique will ensure every single piece in your shipments will return to you completely bare.
Testing and Final Sorting: We sort the material before cleaning to segrate the pattern, color and bare and after cleaning we sort several times until every single piece is clean and bare . We do the testing by P-Type and N-Type.

Wafer Recycling

One Source Metals can efficiently remove the intellectual property from the wafer surface, making these wafers available either for reuse in internal manufacturing calibration as monitor wafers or for sale to the solar cell industry, which must meet a growing demand for the same silicon material to produce photovoltaic cells for solar panels. Depending on how a specific solar cell manufacturer chooses to process a batch of reclaimed wafers - they could save between 30 - 90% of the energy that they would have needed if they'd used a new silicon material source. These estimated energy savings translate into an overall reduction of the carbon footprint for both the Semiconductor and Solar industries One Source Metals is at the forefront of this new technology.
